PDF Form Filler & Signer is a free, browser-based tool that reads the AcroForm fields in a PDF - text boxes, checkboxes, radio groups, dropdowns, and list boxes - and lets you fill them in, draw a signature, and download a finished PDF. It can also stamp a hand-drawn signature onto a PDF that has no form fields at all (signature-only mode). Everything runs locally using pdf-lib: your PDF is parsed, filled, and saved entirely on your device, with nothing uploaded and no signup.

How to use PDF Form Filler & Signer

  1. Drop a PDF onto the upload area or click to browse - the tool reads its form fields and shows page count, total fields, and how many are fillable.
  2. Fill each field in the Form fields panel: type into text boxes, toggle checkboxes, pick radio options, or choose dropdown and list values (existing values are pre-loaded).
  3. To sign, turn on Add a drawn signature and draw in the white pad with your mouse or finger (use Clear to redo).
  4. Choose the page to place it on, pick Left, Center, or Right position near the bottom, and adjust the signature width with the slider.
  5. Leave Flatten on to lock the values into a non-editable PDF, or turn it off to keep an editable AcroForm.
  6. Click Download filled PDF to save the result (named -filled or -signed) to your device.

Yes. If the PDF has no fillable fields, the tool switches to signature-only mode - you can still draw a signature and place it on any page, then download a signed PDF.
What does the Flatten option do?
Flatten bakes your entered values into the page so the result is a fixed, non-editable PDF, and it is on by default. Turn it off to keep a live, editable AcroForm you can change later.
Are there limits on file size or form type?
PDFs must be under 50 MB, since pdf-lib loads the whole document into memory. Encrypted PDFs cannot be opened, and XFA (LiveCycle) forms only expose their classic AcroForm fields - XFA-only fields will not appear.
