The Time Zone & Meeting Planner is a free, browser-based tool that compares the current local time across multiple cities and finds the hours when everyone is within working hours for a meeting. Search roughly 190 world cities by city or country name (or paste an IANA zone id), pin up to 12 zones, and see DST-correct clocks plus an overlap grid. All time-zone math runs locally in your browser via the built-in Intl APIs — no signup, nothing uploaded.

How to use Time Zone & Meeting Planner

  1. Add the places you care about: type a city or country (e.g. "Delhi", "Nepal", "Tokyo") or paste an IANA id like Asia/Tokyo, then press Add — up to 12 zones.
  2. Reorder the list if needed; the first zone is the reference, so the date/time you pick is interpreted in that zone.
  3. Set the reference date and time, or tap Now to use the current moment.
  4. Switch to World clocks to see each zone's local time, UTC offset, abbreviation, and a +1/−1 day badge where the date differs.
  5. Switch to Meeting overlap and set your working-hours window (From/To); the grid highlights every hour where all zones are within working hours.
  6. Read off the green overlapping hours and use Copy slots to grab them for an invite.

Are my city choices or times uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser using the built-in Intl APIs — nothing is sent to a server. Your selected zones and working hours are saved only in your browser's local storage.
Does it handle daylight saving time correctly?
Yes. Offsets are computed per-instant from the browser's IANA time-zone database, so DST shifts (for example New York being UTC-5 in January and UTC-4 in July) are applied automatically for the specific date you pick.
How many cities and zones can I compare?
You can pin up to 12 zones at once. The city search covers roughly 190 curated world cities across every continent, mapped to their correct IANA zones, and you can also paste any valid IANA zone id directly.
Why is the date a day ahead or behind in some cities?
Because the same instant falls on a different calendar day across the date line. A +1 day or −1 day badge marks any zone whose local date differs from the reference zone, so you do not schedule a call on the wrong day.
What if there is no overlap in working hours?
The tool tells you no slot works for everyone and suggests widening the working-hours window or removing a distant zone. The window supports late or to-midnight hours if you are willing to meet outside the standard 9-to-5.
