AI Text Rewriter & Summarizer is a free, browser-based writing assistant that transforms text you paste in — rewriting it, summarizing it in 2–4 sentences, fixing grammar, shortening, expanding, or turning it into a bulleted list — and streams the result back live. It runs entirely on a local model, either an in-browser LLM or your own self-hosted LLM server, so your text is never uploaded and there is no signup. Use it when you want quick on-device help cleaning up emails, notes, or drafts without sending anything to a cloud service.

How to use AI Text Rewriter & Summarizer

  1. Paste the text you want to work on into the 'Your text' box (or click 'Sample' to load an example).
  2. Pick an action from the toolbar: Rewrite, Summarize, Fix grammar, Shorten, Expand, or Bulletize.
  3. For Rewrite or Expand, choose a tone from the dropdown — professional, friendly, casual, confident, or plain.
  4. Click 'Run' and watch the result stream into the Result box; click 'Stop' anytime to halt generation and keep what's been written so far.
  5. Use the 'Copy' button to copy the finished result.

When can I change the tone?
The tone selector only appears for the Rewrite and Expand actions, where you can pick professional, friendly, casual, confident, or plain. The other actions don't use a tone.
Does it keep the original meaning and language?
Yes. The tool is instructed to preserve the original meaning and language, and 'Fix grammar' in particular keeps your wording and tone as close to the original as possible, running at temperature 0 for faithful corrections.
Is there a limit on how much text I can paste?
Yes — input is capped at 5 million characters to avoid overflowing the model's context window, and each result is generated up to about 2,048 tokens.
